KAN•SASS Flare Rub


All NATURAL INGREDIENTS: Paprika, garlic, salt, sugar, cumin, coriander, mustard, celery, pepper and spices.

Kan Sass Flare Rub is less sweet and a bit more savory. These spices are perfectly balanced with the salt and sugar for quick-acting flavor to bring out the inner essence of meat. We add a variety of spices for more depth of flavor. It can be used on a wide variety of meat – including beef brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs, pulled pork, grilled chicken or fish. Use 1 tablespoon, or more, of rub per pound of meat. Add to the meat and rub it in thoroughly with your hands to coat both sides. Place the meat in a large zip lock bag. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. For best results refrigerate for 24 to 48 hours.

To make a sauce add 1 cup of tomato sauce, 1/2 cup of cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of spice rub to a medium sauce pan. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes. You can adjust the spice blend to suite your tastes.

Add 1 TBSP per pound of meat.
