1 piece white bread, crust removed and cut into ¼-inch pieces OR you may use enough oatmeal to bind.
5 Tbsp milk
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp ketchup
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Art of the Steak Seasoning
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
1½ lbs lean ground beef
1 white onion, chopped
Preheat the grill to high heat.
In a bowl, mash the bread or oatmeal and milk together with a fork until it forms a chunky paste.
Add the garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Art of the Steak Seasoning, salt, pepper and mix well.
Add the ground beef and onion and break the meat up with your hands.
Mix everything together.
Divide the mixture into 4 to 5 equal portions and form compact balls.
Flatten the balls into ¾-inch patties about 4½ inches across.
Oil the grilling grates.
Grill the burgers, covered, until nicely browned on the first side, 2 to 4 minutes.
Flip burgers and continue cooking for a few minutes more until cooked to your liking.
Toast the buns if desired.
